London Majors' Chanderdat voted IBL Manager of the Year

Official Intercounty Baseball League News Release

The Intercounty Baseball League has announced that Roop Chanderdat of the London Majors has been named IBL Field Manager of the Year and the recipient of the Troy May Memorial Trophy.

The Troy May Memorial Trophy is presented to the field manager adjudged to have contributed the most to his team's success, selected by the Board of Governors.

Damon Topolie of Toronto finished second.

The IBL will announce the league's first and second-team all-stars on Thursday.

Chanderdat led the Majors to a 22-8 record finishing first, receiving the John Coppes Memorial Trophy. Leading the Majors to their first championship in 46 years, Chanderdat has been at the helm since the 2006 season.
