Official Okotoks Dawgs News Release

The Okotoks Dawgs defeated the Lethbridge Bulls 4-3 on Monday night before the game was called early due to rain.

Solid pitching and offence allowed the Dawgs to come back in a game that could've gone either way.

The Dawgs now own a 24-8 record and remain first in the west division.

Brady Baltus turned in another solid performance tossing five innings, recording six strikeouts and earning his third win of the season.

Caleb Lumbard (Regina, Sask.) was the big Dawg at the dish, going 2-for-2 with two RBIs and adding two runs in the shortened contest. Alex Stufft and Brendan Luther (Mississauga, Ont.) both had one hit and one RBI in the game. Micah McDowell (Kentville, N.S.) went 1-for-2 and had three stolen bases bringing his season total to 14.

The Dawgs will return to Seaman Stadium on Wednesday to begin a three-game homestand.
