Olivier Mayrand (Laval, Que.) enjoyed his second straight game with two hits.

The young catcher went 2-for-4 with two runs, an RBI and a walk to help Nova Southeastern University to a 10-4 win over their Rollins College rivals.

Rémi Patry’s fourth sacrifice of the season

The Oklahoma Wesleyan University swept a doubleheader against York College in Nebraska. In the first game, a 14-8 win, Rémi Patry (Gatineau, Que.) recorded an RBI thanks to his fourth sacrifice of the season.

He served as a defensive replacement in the second game, but did not get an at bat as his team won their 30th gam, 6-4.

Archer Brookman has hit, walk

The Ohio State University Buckeyes suffered a 7-0 loss to the Michigan Wolverines. Catcher Archer Brookman (Pointe-Claire, Que.) was 1-for-3 with a walk.

Jacob Carroll slams a triple

The Pratt Community College of Kansas split a doubleheader against the Colby Community College Trojans, winning 11-8 in the opening game and losing 21-3 in the second contest.

Jacob Carroll (Rawdon, Que.) went 1-for-4 in each game. In the first contest, he drove in a run and scored once, while in the second game, he slammed his first triple of the season.

Nathan Landry takes the loss

Nathan Landry was the starting pitcher for Mineral Area College of Missouri in the first game of a doubleheader. Landry (Trois-Rivières, Que.) pitched 2 1/3 innings, giving up four runs -- three earned -- on four hits and two walks. He struck out three, but was saddled with the loss, in a 4-3 defeat to State Fair Community College .

Two walks for Julien Giroux-Harvey

St. Michael’s College of Vermont suffered an 18-4 loss against Bentley University. Julien Giroux-Harvey had two walks in five plate appearances. Giroux-Harvey (Montreal, Que.) was not in the lineup for his team’s 5-2 loss in the second game.

A double and an RBI for Félix-Antoine Chénier-Rondeau

The Cowley College Tigers from Kansas split a doubleheader with Coffeyville Community College. They lost 8-7 loss in the first game and won 12-6 in the second.

In the first game, Félix-Antoine Chénier-Rondeau (Blainville, Que.) slammed a double (1-for-2), knocked in a run and scored a run. In the second game, he was hit by a pitch and walked in five trips. He also stole a base.

William Sierra faces two batters

The Washington State University Cougars team suffered a 10-7 loss to the University of Utah Utes. Montreal pitcher William Sierra was called upon in the seventh inning and faced two batters, yielding a single and a walk. He was not involved in the decision.

Utah’s Isaac Deveaux (Montreal, Que.) did not take part in the game.
