One Canadian and a pair of Blue Jays prospects will take part in 2017's "Fall Stars" event scheduled for this Saturday at Salt River Fields in Arizona.

On Monday, Josh Naylor (Mississauga, Ont.), T.J. Zeuch and Max Pentecost were named to the Arizona Fall League's Fall Star West squad after posting eye-catching numbers over the circuit's first month.

Through 12 games with Peoria, Naylor has slashed .340/.377/.600 with three home runs and 13 RBI over 50 at-bats. Spending the majority of 2017 with the Lake Elsinore Storm, the hard-hitting first baseman currently checks in as the San Diego Padres No. 10 prospect according to the prospecting pundits at milbpipeline.com, and projects to begin the 2018 season in double-A.

After pitching to an ERA of 3.38 with class-A Advanced Dunedin this summer, Zeuch has held the opposition to a cumulative batting average of .159 while allowing only one earned run in 13 innings for Peoria. Selected in the first round of 2016's June Amateur Draft, the 25-year-old native of Mason, Ohio was named Toronto's top pitching prospect by MLB Pipeline earlier this year, ranking ahead of both Sean Reid-Foley and Nate Pearson, respectively.

Having posted an OPS of .766 over 71 games with Dunedin in 2017, Pentecost - Toronto's highest ranked catching prospect - has a home run, one double and four singles across seven showcase games this fall. Like his hard-throwing battery-mate, the 24-year-old native of Winder, Ga., will likely begin 2018 at the double-A level.

Established in 2006, the Fall-Stars Game has since become a can't miss event for those who like to keep tabs on up and coming talent. Current MLB All-Stars Andrew McCutcheon ('07), Max Scherzer ('08/'09) and perennial American League MVP candidate, Mike Trout ('11) are all previous participants.
