Canadians in College report for Feb. 6 to Feb. 12, 2017

Our goal is to provide weekly statistical summaries and highlight notable results of the players listed on the CIC CBN web page. It is an ambitious project and we are in ‘Spring Training’. We have started with players attending NCAA schools and we will follow with NAIA, then NJCAA schools. Each week we will be adding more players. Please stay tuned as our coverage expands.

This report covers 136 players attending 84 NCAA schools. During the period there were 106 games involving 46 teams played where one or both of the teams have Canadian players.

From the mound, nine Canadian pitchers made 13 appearances, three were starts. As a group, they threw 30 innings, striking out 42, earning 2 wins and one save. At the plate, 12 Canadian batters had 151 at bats with 41 hits producing 25 RBIs.
