Official Ontario Blue Jays News Release
The Ontario Blue Jays (OBJ) are excited to announce that OF/P Darius Armorer (Whitby, Ont.) has committed to further his academic and baseball career at Bossier Parish Community College (NJCAA - Bossier City, LA).
Armorer joined OBJ as a 17-year old and immediately began impacting the Jays on both sides of the game. He is a Sinclair Secondary School graduate who looks to defend the 18U CPBL Championship before heading to Louisiana this Fall.
Armorer joins a Cavaliers team on the rise in one of the NJCAA toughest regions. Region 14 is comprised of colleges from Louisiana and Texas which includes many perennial junior college powerhouses. Armorer looks to jump right into a role both in the outfield and on the mound for Bossier Parish this coming year, in hopes of making a run at the College World Series in Grand Junction next Spring.
Armorer will be the eighth Ontario Blue Jays players to attend Bossier Parish Community College.
