Official Ontario Blue Jays Release

The Ontario Blue Jays are excited to announce that SS Myles Naylor (Mississauga, ON) has committed to further his academic and baseball career at Texas Tech University (NCAA DI - Lubbock, TX).

Naylor joined the Ontario Blue Jays formally at the 12 & Under level when OBJ expanded into the younger age groups and currently plays at the 16 & Under level while attending St. Joan of Arc Catholic Secondary School.

The Naylor Family and the OBJ Family have had a long standing relationship as both of Myles' older brothers graduated the OBJ Program ahead of him. First, his oldest brother Josh (Texas Tech Commit) who is now with the San Diego Padres and Bo (Texas A&M Commit) who is now with the Cleveland Indians organization.

Naylor will be joining a perennial powerhouse in the Red Raiders who were off to a 16-3 start this past Spring before the pandemic shutdown. In 2019, the Red Raiders hosted and won both their NCAA Regional and NCAA Super Regional before advancing to the College World Series in Omaha. Naylor will continue to develop and grow his game over the next few years and will join the Red Raiders in the Fall of 2023.

Naylor becomes third Ontario Blue Jays player to commit to Texas Tech University.
