Official Ontario Blue Jays News Release

The Ontario Blue Jays are excited to announce that OF Glenn Noronha (Mississauga, Ont.) has committed to further his academic and baseball career at West Texas A&M University (NCAA DII - Canyon, TX).

Noronha joined the Ontario Blue Jays Program as a 17-year-old while attending Gonzaga Secondary School where he graduated in 2020.

Noronha will be joining a strong Buffs program that is currently ranked in the Top 30 DII teams in the country. Playing in the ultra competitive Lone Star Conference, West Texas A&M always has an opportunity to push towards a NCAA World Series bid.

Noronha will look to make an immediate impact in the Buffs outfield and at the top of their lineup as a freshman next Fall.

Noronha will be the first Ontario Blue Jays player to attend West Texas A&M University.
