The Ontario Blue Jays are excited to announce that RHP Peyton Consigli (Fonthill, Ont.) has committed to further his academic and baseball career at Canisius College (NCAA DI - Buffalo, NY).
Consigli joined the Ontario Blue Jays this Fall to participate on the OBJ Collegiate Tour and secure a collegiate opportunity in his final year of high school.
The Golden Griffs have had a strong history of success in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, winning the conference most recently in 2018 with a team that featured two former Ontario Blue Jays in Conner Morro and Nick Capitano, as well as OBJ Assistant Pitching Coordinator Jared Kennedy.
Consigli will be looking to join a strong Golden Griffs team lead by Matt Mazurek as they look to return to the top of the MAAC in 2021.
Consigli will be the seventh Ontario Blue Jays player to attend Canisius College.
