Ottawa Champions Press Release

Ottawa -- Ottawa Champions general manager Ben Hodge announced on Wednesday that he is leaving the Can-Am League club to pursue other opportunities. Hodge has been the Champions' only general manager since the club's inception in 2015.

"It has been my honour to be part of the Ottawa Champions for the last three years," said Hodge. "To see the club grow from just an idea into a major part of Ottawa's sports landscape gives me great pride."

Team owner Miles Wolff praised the contributions of Hodge.

"Ben has been such an important part of the Champions. His dedication and hard work were a major reason why the club was selected as the Can-Am League's Organization of the Year in 2016," said Wolff. "We send Ben our best as he moves forward in the sports world."

The club is not expected to name a replacement until after January 2018.
