Phils manager Rob Thomson to speak in London later this month

Rob Thomson (Corunna, Ont.) is introduced as the next manager of the Philadelphia Phillies by GM Dave Dombrowski.

The London Sports Association will have Rob Thomson, manager of the Philadelphia Phillies and World Series finalists as its guest speaker on Tuesday, Nov. 29.

Thomson made history by the first Canadian-born manager of a major league team in over 70 years or more. He is from Corunna, Ont. and now lives in Sebringville, near Stratford.

Everyone is welcomed to attend and hopefully, we can add women and men to our London Sports Association committee.

MEETING DATE: Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022.

LOCATION: Victory Branch Legion - 311 Oakland Ave. London, Ont. (Cross Streets: Highbury Ave. and Florence).

TIME: Noon.

COST FOR LUNCH: $20 Per Person.

To join the London Sports Association: Annual dues at $20.
