Pimentel-Guerrero, Poturnak headed to Xavier

CINCINNATI - Xavier head coach Billy O'Conner announced a 10-person signing class for the Fall of 2021.
The new class will join the Musketeers' program in Fall of 2022 for the 2023 season.
The class includes two Canadians:
Luis Pimentel-Guerrero is an outfielder from Burlington, Ont., where he currently attends Corpus Christi Secondary School.
Pimentel-Guerrero has played club baseball for Fieldhouse Pirates for five years. He's the fifth-rated member of the 2022 class in Ontario, and was the second-ranked junior outfielder in Ontario last season. Pimentel-Guerrero played for Team Canada in the2019 Future Games.
Pimentel-Guerrero plans to major in sport management at Xavier. He is the son of Luis Jose Pimentel Guerrero l and Vianny Guerrero de Pimentel and has one younger sibling, Charlize.
Jakob Poturnak is an infielder from Manila, Philippines where he attended the International School of Manila.
Portunak played for the North Shore Twins of PBL Canada in British Columbia, playing shortstop, second base and third. He earned a spot on the Canadian Junior National Team and has earned IASAS All-Tournament honors.
Porturnak plans to study Business at Xavier. He is the son of Brian and Rina Marie Porurnak, and has four sisters, Erika, Mikaela, Anika and Minka.
