Rawlings Sports extends equipment partnership with Baseball Canada’s National Teams
Brantford ON – Rawlings Sports Canada and Baseball Canada have taken major steps to increase the equipment and the technology used by their National teams representing Canada around the world.
“We’ve always been involved with Baseball Canada’s national teams but we’ve always felt like we can do more with the coaches and the players to ensure they have the best equipment in the game as they are competing against the best in the world every year. By working closer together during training and having better communication we can ensure the proper equipment is used by our athletes to give them the best opportunities to win at all events. Bat & Helmet technology are the most rapidly changing industries in sport, it’s important to us that Team Canada always has the best products,” said Jason Shipley of Rawlings Sports.
This new deal allows Rawlings and Baseball Canada to work closer together to ensure Canada’s national teams have a unified look and are using the best equipment available in the game. As an Official Equipment Supplier, Rawlings will be tasked with supplying helmets, equipment bags, bats and baseballs to all National Teams.
“Rawlings has been part of the Men’s National Teams Program for many years at a very high level. The quality and performance of their products are second to none and I have no doubt that our players maximize their potential based on using them.,” said Greg Hamilton , the Coach & Director Men’s National Teams.
Within this new partnership Rawlings will also be working with Baseball Canada’s women’s national team to ensure their quality of equipment is enhanced.
“Canada’s women’s national baseball team is ranked #2 in the world. We felt their program wasn’t getting the attention it deserves from equipment suppliers, and as a leader in sport we have taken it upon ourselves to step-up and work with Baseball Canada to get their players the best equipment available to them,” said Jason Shipley of Rawlings Sports.

Canada is currently ranked #10 in the world in the WBSC World Rankings for men’s baseball and ranked #2 in the world for women’s baseball. As the men’s and women’s programs prepare for a busy 2020 season and a bid year hopefully leading to the 2020 Olympics in Japan for the men’s program, it’s very important to have the best equipment and Rawlings will ensure they have that when they hit the dirt in 2020.
