What an incredible conquest.

The team representing Quebec in the Frontier League -- which played almost three months on the road due to the closure of the Canada-US border -- won the regular season championship in the Atlantic division, clinching a Frontier League playoff spot.

In the final game of the season, under manager Patrick Scalabrini (Waterford, Que.), Équipe Québec posted an 11-7 victory over the Sussex County Miners, ending the regular season with an impressive 52-44 record.

In the last game, Jonathan Lacroix (Montreal, Que.) had two hits, knocked in three runs and scored twice.

Raphaël Gladu (Trois Rivieres, Que.) continued his hot stretch, going 3-for-5 with two runs scored. The former New York Mets minor leaguer had no less than 66 hits in 41 games, maintaining an impressive batting average of .375.
