Official Guelph Royals News Release

GUELPH, Ont. - The Guelph Royals have announced that Dino Roumel will return as the team's field manager for the 2024 season.

Roumel, 57, will enter his third season of his second stint as the Royals manager when the team takes to the field on May 17 in Hamilton for their season opener against the Cardinals.

The two-time IBL champion with the Guelph Royals (2003-'04) said he is ecstatic to return to the Royal City this summer.

"I'm so excited to be back with the Royals for the 2024 season. Unfinished business is such an overused motto and while it is not something I want to use as motivation to come back, I have been so disappointed in the results the last two years. The drive and desire to bring home a championship for our fans, players, and my hometown is all the motivation I need."

The Royals will announce the rest of Roumel's coaching staff closer to the start of the 2024 season.
