Intercounty Baseball League News Release

The Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) has announced their Rawlings Player and Pitcher of the Month for August.

Jake Sanford, of the Welland Jackfish, is the August Player of the Month. He batted .459 in August with three home runs and 1.319 OPS. The native of Cole Harbour, N.S. finished with the season with a league-leading .393 batting average.

Cesar Rosado, of the Barrie Baycats, takes home the Pitcher of the Month honours thanks to his dominating 2-0 record, a 1.13 ERA, and an incredible 30 strikeouts in 16 innings pitched. The Dominican hurler led the IBL with 105 strikeouts in the regular season.
