A total of 12 Canadians are on the rosters of the top 15 Junior College teams in talent-rich Texas, according to Perfect Game.

And three made the top 100 JUCO player rankings led by former Toronto Mets LHP Carter Seabrooke (Otonabee, Ont.) of the Howard College Hawks. Seabrooke is ranked 49th.

Next behind him, checking in at No. 70 is his Howard teammate C Nicholas Thibodeau (Burlington, Ont.), a former Great Lake Canadian.

And the third Canuck listed is ranked 87th: former North Shore Twin Ben Columbus (North Vancouver, BC), who plays at Wharton College Pioneers.

RHP Tyler Boudreau (Middle Sackville, NS) is with the Midland Chaparals.

Thibodeau is hitting .308 with four homers, five RBIs and a 1.126 OPS … Vasquez is hitting .150 with a double, two RBIs and a .427 OPS and Manias to date has a .167 average with three RBIs and a .453 OPS.

On the mound ... Ross has pitched 4 1/3 innings scoreless in three games with six strikeouts ... Seabrooke is 1-1 with a 13.00 ERA with 15 walks and 14 innings in nine innings ... Dawe has had one scoreless outing ... Cassie has an 18.00 ERA in five innings with three walks and five strikeouts.

Columbus has impressed hitting .377 with nine doubles, a triple, a homer, 19 RBIs and a 1.074 OPS.
