JAYS CARE TO CELEBRATE INVESTMENTS IN YOUTH BASEBALL ACROSS QUEBEC
Celebrations in Chelsea and Montreal will take place during the Blue Jays in Montreal weekend
 


In celebration of the Toronto Blue Jays fourth annual weekend in Montreal, JAYS CARE FOUNDATION will host three celebrations in the province of Quebec.  
 
FRIDAY, MARCH 31 – CHELSEA, QC
WHAT: Jays Care and The Municipality of Chelsea will celebrate the grand opening of “Russell Martin Field.” Jays Care invested $150,000 to refurbish the facility to increase access to baseball for local youth.

WHAT: Jays Care will celebrate a total of $111,409 of investments in two Montreal area Boys & Girls Clubs with an opening ceremony and baseball clinic for youth          baseball players.

WHAT: Major League Baseball, Jays Care Foundation, Baseball Canada and Baseball Québec will host a ‘PLAY BALL’ event at Olympic Stadium. The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature kids from all over the province of Québec participating in activities that highlight the variety of fun, informal ways baseball and softball can be played.
