Six Canucks re-sign with their MLB teams

Six Canadian major leaguers have re-signed with their respective big league clubs, landing contracts that collectively amount to almost $40 million.

First baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Montreal, Que.) and closer Jordan Romano (Markham, Ont.) have re-upped with the Toronto Blue Jays, while right-hander Cal Quantrill (Port Hope, Ont.) and first baseman/DH Josh Naylor (Mississauga, Ont.) have received significant raises from the Cleveland Guardians.

With their deals, they avoid going to arbitration with their clubs.
