Only 144 spots remain for Ontario players wishing to tryout for September’s third annual Tournament 12 at the Rogers Centre.
Players are registering now MLB.com for the six different tryout camps to be held in six different provinces.
A total of 456 players have registered for Tournament 12 III in Ontario. Organizers were hoping to register 200 players but roared past that number quickly.
T12 II was better organized than T12 I and organizer are hoping the improvement graph continues upwards.

The Toronto T12 Tryout Camps will take place at Rogers Centre in Toronto, May 13-15. Players will be asked to submit their preferred date and time slot, but there are no guarantees players will get their first selection. There will be 6 available slots to choose from.
Slot #1: Wednesday, May 13: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Slot #2: Wednesday, May 13: 2 p.m. - 7 p.m. Slot #3: Thursday, May 14: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Slot #4: Thursday, May 14: 2 p.m. - 7 p.m. Slot #5: Friday, May 15: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Slot #6: Friday, May 15: 2 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Each evaluation session will run roughly five hours.
Players will be auditioning for the two Ontario teams and one the Future team.
Camps to determine players that selected to represent their Province/Region at T12 in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec. The four Atlantic provinces will stage a four-team tournament with Canada Cup entrants so their entry will be selected.
T12 will take place in Toronto from Sept. 14-18, with all games at Rogers Centre.
Although it is not mandatory that players attend a T12 Tryout Camp in order to be selected to a T12 roster, it is greatly encouraged. Players will receive T12 tryout camp t-shirts, along with a T12 Cap.
Players between the ages of 14-19 (as of Sept. 1, 2015) can register to participate in the T12 camp. If a player is selected to participate in he will be assigned to the team representing the Province/Region which he were born.
Position players will be evaluated based on; speed, throwing, defence and hitting.
Pitchers will be evaluated by their bullpen sessions.
Players will be evaluated at the T12 camp by Toronto Blue Jays and MLB Scouting Bureau personnel. All final roster decisions will be determined by the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Academy.
Bantam-aged players are welcome to attend.
The cost for the tryout camp is $100 per participant, plus applicable taxes and service
Rather than picking the teams in one day the rosters will be selected in three installments.
The dates: May 1: The first five roster spots are determined for each team. Aug. 14: The next eight roster spots are determined for each team. Aug. 27: The final seven roster spots are determined for each team.
The Maritimes, led by Andrew Case, who Blue Jays scout Jamie Lehman signed, won the 2013 inaugural event, while Quebec, coached by Denis Boucher, was presented the trophy by commissioner Robbie Alomar.
