Six Quebec-born players were among the 35 that Baseball Canada has invited to the Junior National Team Fall Instructional Camp that is scheduled for October 14 to October 23 in Dunedin, Fla.

The six Quebec-born players are Elliot Cadieux-Lanoue (Saint-Pie), Charles-Olivier Cyr (St-Jean-sur-Richelieu), Jimmy Dionne (St-Augustin-de-Desmaures), Joshua Jones (Blainville), Deiten Lachance (Sherbrooke) and Jérémy Pilon (Valleyfield).

During the nine-day camp, practices and intrasquad games will be held at TD Ballpark, the Toronto Blue Jays' spring training home. On October 19, the team will travel to Melching Field in DeLand to face Stetson University in a doubleheader, consisting of two seven-inning games.

The camp will prioritize athletic development and training and will serve to place players in high-level competitive situations.
