Great Lake Canadians, Junior National Team and Tournament 12 graduate Adam Hall (London, Ont.) has been named the Baltimore Orioles minor league player of the month for the month of August.

The 19-year-old shortstop batted .390 with a .462  on-base percentage (OBP) and added 15 stolen bases for the class-A Short-Season Aberdeen IronBirds during the month. He also enjoyed a 19-game hitting streak.

A second round (60th overall) pick of the O's in 2017, Hall finished his second professional season with a .293 batting average and a .368 OBP in 62 games with the IronBirds.

Born in Bermuda, Hall moved to London, Ont., and began honing his skills with the Great Lake Canadians in his early teens. At age 15, he joined the Canadian Junior National Team and was a standout infielder with the club for three years.

Hall also competed in four Tournament 12 events (2013 to 2016) hosted by the Toronto Blue Jays' Academy at Rogers Centre.
