Ontario Terriers

Beginning last year, the Terriers Baseball Program named one player from each of our teams to receive‎ an award in honour of John Jepson.

John was the ultimate father figure to every boy, coach, parent, administrator or anyone else he dealt with.

During these difficult times, John would have reminded us that there are better days ahead, inspiring us to persevere and continue to move forward. He was like the North Star and you could always guide your ship by him.

We lost John after his courageous battle with cancer in October of 2018. To continue to keep him front and centre in our minds for years to come, we are proud to name these Terriers the winners of the 2020 John Jepson Award.

These fine young men were chosen by their coaches and best exemplify the qualities that John admired most and shared with us every day, including:

* Generosity of spirit

* Being a great teammate

* Sportsmanship

* Dedication to improvement

* Academic achievement

Congratulations to all. John would be proud of you.
