Terriers' College Player of the Week: Keygan Miksa

Ten games on the schedule for SUNY Niagara last week provided plenty of opportunities for Keygan Miksa.
The former Terrier infielder legged out a double, walked and drove in a run in a 3-1 win over Genesee.
Miksa then had a hit during a 15-1 Game 3 victory over Jamestown before going 2-for-3 in a 3-0 Game 3 win.
The Thunderwolves would outscore Tompkins Cortland 31-2 in a doubleheader to close out the week and Miksa totalled three hits, three walks and two RBIs in the pair of wins.
Honourable Mentions
D'Youville closer Sam Worthen made two strong appearances, beginning with two innings in a 16-11 Game 1 win over the College of Staten Island. He allowed one run on three hits, walked two and struck out one. Next time out, in Game 4, he picked up his 10th save thanks to two scoreless innings. He surrendered a hit, a walk and punched out three.
Campbell Ellis worked 3 1/3 innings and gave up an unearned run on two hits as Virginia Commonwealth University beat Liberty, 2-1, in a midweek contest. He issued two walks and struck out one.
Hendrix College infielder Zach Marriott had four hits, including a solo home run, and two RBIs but the Warriors fell to East Texas Baptist University, 12-10, during a midweek game. In a three-game series against Centre College over the weekend, he collected two hits, walked twice and drove in a run.
Josh Cote homered as part of a two-hit game for Northeastern Junior College as they lost to Otero College.
Four hits and an RBI from Hugh Pinkney powered Rutgers to a midweek win over Monmouth. He followed it up by walking in the Scarlet Knights three-game series with Iowa.
Catcher Matt Ward walked four times in four games for Niagara University.
Ward's teammate, Jason Green, hit a double in a midweek win against Le Moyne.
Elijha Hammill chipped in three hits and an RBI for Central Arizona.
AJ Karosas had two hits, walked three times, drove in a run and stole a base as the University of Charleston swept West Virginia Wesleyan College.
Right-hander Liam Carey threw a scoreless 1/3 of an inning to help Muskingum defeat Heidelberg, 14-2.
