Right-handed pitcher Owen MacNeil becomes the second former Terrier to twice take home the organization’s top college honour.
And it should come as no surprise given his performance for the University of Charleston last week.
MacNeil (Georgetown, Ont.) threw a seven-inning no-hitter as the Golden Eagles beat Concord University 6-0. He struck out five.
On the season, he’s 5-0 with a 2.54 ERA over 11 starts.
MacNeil was also named the Canadian Baseball Network College Player of the Week.
