Terriers LHP Lucas Earle will be taking his craft to the West Coast to pitch for Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, Calif., this fall.
Earle has been a superb teammate and an outstanding Terrier over the past two years. He can always be relied upon to provide quality work on the mound whether it is as a starter or out of the bullpen with his precise blend of pitches.
Lucas's biggest Terrier highlight came last July when he garnered the win for the 17u Terriers in the PBLO championship game in Windsor.
Allan Hancock College was established in 1920. The athletic programs contains 16 total men's and women's varsity sports teams. They compete in the California Community College Athletic Conference.
Over the last eight years the baseball team has produced a remarkable 96% graduation and/or transfer success rate with a vast majority of those receiving athletic scholarships to 4 year schools, including every sophomore in the 2011, 2014, 2016 and 2018 classes.
In addition to his Terrier career, Lucas is a decorated athlete and student at Twin Lakes Secondary School.
He has been named the SR Male Athlete of the Year, along with baseball and hockey MVP awards. He has been named to the honour roll four times and is an Ontario Scholar. On top of all that, Lucas was also named the Twin Lakes Secondary School Award of Merit for 2019.
Congratulations to the Earle family on all of their son's accomplishments and his continued success in the future
