Congratulations to the nine Ontario Terriers players who will be taking the field next month during the Canadian Futures Showcase in Ottawa.

Outfielders Cameron Chee-Aloy, Keegan O'Hearn and Lucas Alberti were named to the initial roster of 75 players earlier this month.

On August 19, an additional six Terriers were named to the final roster. Catcher Jason Green, infielder Adyn Schell, right-handed pitcher Ryan Arora, left-handed pitcher Luca Alagheband, right-handed pitcher Wil Hynes and outfielder Noah Konings will also take part in the event.

Terriers owner Nicole Tevlin is happy to see so many Terriers selected and says it's a testament to their hard work and the organization’s ability to develop players.

"Having nine players selected reinforces that we are good at developing young talent," Tevlin said. "We have a strong roster of dedicated coaches from a variety of baseball environments. They take an interest in each player's needs at the various stages of their development in our system. Above all, they understand winning is important, but development takes precedence."

The Canadian Futures Showcase is scheduled for September 20 to 24 at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton Park.
