Major league teams had to submit their 60-man player pools for the 2020 season by 4 p.m. on Sunday.

By my count, there were 13 Canadian players selected to these pools. The list is below. Please let me know if I’ve missed anyone.

Major League Baseball’s Operating Manual dictates that all players on each club’s 40-man roster that they anticipate participating during the season must be part of their player pool. The rest of their 60-man pools will consist of non-40-man roster players under contract.

Teams must pare down their rosters to 28 players 14 days into their regular season, which will begin on July 23 or July 24. They must further reduce their rosters to 26 players after 29 days. Club can also carry up to a three-person taxi squad for road games.
