GIJANG, South Korea - Junior National Team shortstop Austin Gomm (Mississauga, ON) has been named to the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-18 Baseball World Cup "All-World Team".
The 18-year-old hit .345 with with two doubles, a triple and 10 RBI while starting all of Canada's eight tournament games at shortstop where he carried a .914 fielding percentage.
