WCBL appoints Stiles as managing director of corporate sponsorships

Lethbridge, Alta. – The Western Canadian Baseball League (“WCBL”) is pleased to announce that Mark Stiles has joined the WCBL as managing director of corporate sponsorships and marketing.
In his role, Stiles will lead the development and management of the organization’s corporate strategies with respect to league-wide sponsorships sales and activations.
“The WCBL is delighted to have Mark join our management team. Mark’s experience and connections in his role as Senior Director of Sponsorship with Calgary Sports and Entertainment, where he managed sponsorship portfolios for the Calgary Flames (NHL), Calgary Stampeders (CFL), Calgary Roughnecks (NLL) and Calgary Hitmen (WHL), will be a tremendous asset to the WCBL,” said WCBL President Kevin Kvame.
“We look forward to Mark growing our corporate sponsorship relationships with communities throughout western Canada.”
Patrick Cassidy, member of the WCBL’s Management Committee, added: “After a thorough search, we are thrilled to have someone of Mark’s caliber join the WCBL team. We are confident that Mark’s extensive experience and knowledge in the business of sports and entertainment will grow the WCBL’s corporate and business partnerships, and be a catalyst in the evolution and growth of our league.”
