WCBL's Brooks Bombers hire Davis as head coach

The Brooks Bombers are excited to announce Brice Davis as the head coach for the 2022 season.
Davis comes to Brooks after spending last summer as the hitting coach for the Schaumburg Boomers of the Frontier League.
Prior to the Boomers, Davis spent two seasons as a coach with Indiana Wesleyan University. At IWU, coach Davis was in charge of the hitters and served as the team’s infield coach.
The Fishers, Ind., native also spent two seasons as the varsity hitting coach at Fishers High School. In his two years at his alma mater, the team set 19 records on offence and won the 2018 Class 4A State Championship.
Davis is also the owner and head instructor of Davis Baseball out of Indiana.
“I couldn’t be happier for our organization and community of Brooks with the signing of coach Davis to lead our organization on the field in 2022,” stated Bombers GM/Director of Baseball Operations Jason Wandler. “Brice’s passion and knowledge of the game will be a huge asset to the players this summer. His energy, enthusiasm, and experience is why I feel he is the right fit for us.”
The Bombers 2022 season begins on Friday, May 27 when the team travels to Okotoks to face the Dawgs. The Bombers’ Home Opener goes Sunday May 29 when the defending WCBL Champions Lethbridge Bulls come to town.
