Official Medicine Hat Mavericks Release

The Medicine Hat Mavericks are pleased to announce the hiring of head coach Mark Goodman.

He will be joining the Mavericks as head coach for the 2023 season.

As a player, Goodman brings experience as a NCAA D1 and NAIA athlete as well as professional time in the Northern League and American Association.

As a coach, he is currently in his second season as the pitching coach at Colorado School of Mines (NCAA D2). He has coached 16 seasons of college baseball including stops at the Juco, NAIA, and NCAA levels.

Goodman has also spent five seasons in summer college baseball, including three seasons in the Northwoods League, where he helped lead the Mankato Moon Dogs to the championship series.
