Kissock reunites with college teammates for Lewis-Clark State hall induction

Chris Kissock (Trail, B.C.) and his family took a journey back in time on Saturday. The pitching ace and his 2007 Lewis-Clark State College (LCSC) Warriors baseball team were inducted into the Lewis-Clark Hall of Fame in Lewiston, Idaho. Kissock reunited with his teammates from the 2007 NAIA World Series Championship team at a ceremony at the Clearwater Riverside Casino and Lodge Event Centre.

Yet, on Wednesday despite their different locales both Vauxhall and Nanaimo Pirates grad RHP Josh Burgmann and Dartmouth Moosehead Dry’s OF Jake Sanford were named to the Golden Spikes Award mid-season watch list by USA Baseball.

Julien homers, knocks in three in Auburn loss

ABC and Junior National Team grad Edouard Julien (Quebec City, Que.) homered and drove in three runs in the Auburn Tigers’ 11-6 loss to Jacksonville State on Tuesday. With three RBIs in the contest, Julien now has 101 RBIs in 94 career games with Auburn to become the fifth fastest player to 100 RBIs in the program’s history behind Tim Hudson (78 games), Gabe Gross (86 games), Frank Thomas (89 games) and Todd Faulkner (90 games).
