4. RHP Noah Skirrow (Stoney Creek, Ont. Ontario Blue Jays) Ontario Black: “He’s under control, he used all his pitches and threw strikes. He was about 87 MPH.”

1. INF Adam Hall (London, Ont., Great Lake Canadians) Ontario Black: “He has deceptive speed, he’s a 30-steal guy. Until the last day or so I didn’t know if he was the best position player, now I think he is. He’s aggressive, ready and into the game. Scouts tell me he sometimes takes a bad at-bat into the field with him, but he’s young, lots of guys did that.”

5. C Noah Naylor (Mississauga, Ont. Ontario Blue Jays) Ontario Black: “His brother Josh Naylor I believe will be in the big leagues in two years. I asked Noah what was his best position. He gave me some political answer about longevity. I told him his best position is where he plays the best and that looked like catching after he threw out three runners.”
6. OF Denzel Clarke (Pickering, Ont., Toronto Mets) Futures Navy: “He’s very raw, he needs game time
7. INF Cesar Valero (Calgary, Alta. Okotoks Dawgs) Alberta Red: “He has a big upside, he’s like a bulldog. He scalded a ball and they threw him out at first. Most guys would have come back angry. He came back with a smile on his face -- like “I’ll get you next time,” I like that.”
