I am honored and flattered to be recognized by the Canadian Baseball Network by receiving this prestigious Scout of the Year award and recognized with such an outstanding list of past award winners. I want to thank the Canadian Baseball Network, especially Bob Elliott and his work with CBN. I’m proud to be a part of Joey Votto’s journey and wish him continued success. What a tremendous career and hoping for Joey, his family, that he gets the accolades he deserves as he moves on. Again I’m thrilled to be a part of Canadian baseball history. Thank you, Kasey McKeon, the scouting director at the time, and thank you Joey for a great career
