The workouts have been held, impressions have been made.

The decision makers are in their various war rooms from San Diego and Miami to Rogers Centre.

Tom Robson (Ladner, BC) remains atop race to be the top Canuck in our final ratings, a position he’s held for oh about 19 months.

Unlike the previous four Junes Canada will not have a first rounder this year. C Kellin Deglan (Langley, BC), LHP James Paxton (Ladner, BC), 3B Brett Lawrie (Langley, BC) and RHP Phillippe Aumont (Hull, Que.) all were first rounders the previous four years

Robson is expected to go in the first three or four rounds ... and what’s wrong with that? Nada.

Robson has been to Safeco Field to stuff his stuff for the Seattle Mariners and he’s also thrown a bullpen in Jupiter, Fla. for the St. Louis Cardinals.

Besides Robson, SS Justin Atkinson (North Surrey, BC) and Cory Scammell (Edmonton, Alta.) were also at Safeco.

Atkinson was in New York on the weekend to work out for the New York Mets.

C Justin Marra (Toronto, Ont.) was at the Rogers Centre to show his stuff for the Blue Jays and also drove to Miller Park in Milwaukee.

3B Dustin Houle (Penticton, BC) was also in Milwaukee and hit a 420-foot homer and at Rogers Centre.

Flying home, he reached McLeod Park and went 3-for-3 with two home runs against Washington in tournament play.

Houle moves into second in our final ranking.
