The Blue Jays’ minor leaguers played four games on Father’s Day Sunday and three of them went to extra innings, giving the clubs two wins and a loss. And the Vancouver Canadians won comfortably against Spokane.

Buffalo Bisons 5, Lehigh Valley IronPigs 3
Andy Burns only took one game before he was hitting at full flight in Buffalo. His 3/4 game with a home run led the Bisons to a 5-3 win over the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. While Burns had a huge day (3/4, 2B, HR, 2 R), it was Jio Mier’s two-run home run in the top of the 10th that gave the Bisons the win.

Wade LeBlanc had a solid start, allowing three runs over six innings with four strikeouts and the bullpen took over from there. Colty Hynes, freshly called up from Double-A, threw a scoreless inning, allowing two hits and striking out one. Ben Rowen provided a perfect inning, Aaron Loup got the win with a scoreless ninth, allowing one hit with two strikeouts and Dustin Antolin got his seventh save, walking one and striking out one in the 10th.
