OKOTOKS, Alta. - The 2015 Western Major Baseball League regular season begins for the Okotoks Dawgs on the road with two games against the Lethbridge Bulls on May 29 and 30.
The Dawgs then return to the friendly confines of Seaman Stadium for the Home Opener on Friday, June 5 against the rival Medicine Hat Mavericks. Dawgs will look for redemption after a second round elimination by the Mavs to end last year’s playoff run. Opening Weekend will also feature games on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7th at Seaman Stadium.
The always popular Canada Day game with pre-game entertainment and post-game Fireworks will see the Dawgs take on the Moose Jaw Miller Express at Seaman Stadium. Other notable home games include Father’s Day (June 21) against the Bulls and “Wear Pink to the Park” day on July 26 against the Mavericks. Dawgs will look to add to the $200,000, which has been raised over the past five seasons.
