Alexi Casilla had the Bisons’ only double while David Adams was on twice with a walk and a single.

Starter Chris Leroux was strong for the Bisons, throwing six innings and allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits and a walk with five strikeouts. Pat McCoy allowed a run on a hit and a walk in two innings with one strikeout while Pat Venditte, in his return to Buffalo, allowed a run on three hits in his inning.

Jays’ #2 prospect Conner Greene got hit hard in his outing against the Tampa Yankees, giving up two home runs among 10 hits and three walks with five runs charged (four earned) and just one strikeout in 5 2/3 innings. Matt Dermody followed to get the Blue Jays out of the sixth inning and Bo Schultz, making his first rehab outing of the year, pitched a scoreless seventh, walking a man. Tim Mayza pitched two scoreless innings to finish the game, giving up a hit and striking out one.

Jason Leblebijian led the offense with two of the Blue Jays’ six hits, going 2/3 with a walk, a run and an RBI. Jonathan Davis was 1/3 with a walk and a run, adding a stolen base while Derrick Loveless drove in two runs with a double but also struck out three times.
