With the 2016 Minor League Baseball season officially getting under way Thursday, April 7th, an updated listing, which includes all known current Canadian player assignments.

Also indicated where applicable, are some other transactions which have taken place in recent weeks. As always, there are still some small holes in the information listed, because at this time of year, changes happen almost on an daily basis. Any adjustments will of course, be included in the first weekly submission, next week.

An who should hit lead off in Farelli's pre-opener count down but none other than 1B Josh Naylor (Mississauga, Ont.) of the Ontario Blue Jays, slected 12th over all in North America last June and a recent feature on CBC's The Natiional, while at training camp in Jupiter, Fla.
