Blue Jays from Away
The Blue Jays minor leaguers were 1-2 on Mother’s Day, getting a win in Buffalo while New Hampshire was on the receiving end of a lopsided loss and Dunedin couldn’t make the most of their opportunities to overcome a deficit.

The Bisons doubled the Syracuse Chiefs for the second day in a row, getting a run in the first and three in the fourth to support Roberto Hernandez who earned his first win this season. Hernandez threw 5 2/3 innings, giving up only two unearned runs on two hits and no wlks while striking out six. Colt Hynes gave up a hit while striking out two in one inning while Ben Rowen (1 1/3 IP, 2 K) and Dustin Antolin (1 IP, 2 K) had scoreless outings with Antolin earning his first save in Triple-A.
The offense had eight hits including a single and a double from Dalton Pompey who drove in a pair. Jio Mier had a 2/3 game with a run and an RBI, adding a stolen base while Domonic Brown was 1/3 with a walk and a home run. Casey Kotchman continued his quiet consistency with a single and a walk.
