Abram named Terriers' Player of the Week

It was a start Ben Abram had to be looking forward to.
After spending four seasons at the University of Oklahoma, including a trip to the 2022 College World Series, Abram opposed his former mates as a member of the No. 10 Oklahoma State Cowboys in Game 3 of their final regular season series.
Abram delivered five innings and allowed one run on four hits in an 11-1 win to give the Cowboys a 2-1 series victory. He struck out four in the start and improved to 7-2 on the season.
The two sides will meet again in Game 1 of the Big 12 Conference Tournament on Wednesday.
Honourable Mentions
Matt Torresan was recognized for his strong season at Iowa Lakes Community College by being selected to the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference All-Region Second Team. The Niagara University commit led the team with a .355 average, while posting a .438 on-base percentage and a .480 slugging percentage.
Catcher Hugh Pinkney had three hits, a walk and four RBIs as Rutgers closed out the regular season with a series loss to Minnesota. The Scarlett Knights will play Nebraska in Game 1 of the Big Ten Tournament.
Ryan O'Halloran had four hits and a RBI for Butler in their three-game series against St. John's.
Lefty Connor O'Halloran allowed five runs (three earned) on seven hits over 4 1/3 innings in Michigan's Game 1 loss to Ohio State. He walked one and struck out five. The Wolverines will take on Iowa in Game 1 of the Big Ten Tournament.
Matt Ward collected four hits, walked and drove in three as Niagara University finished up the regular season with a three-game sweep of Mount St. Mary's. The Purple Eagles now prepare for Quinnipiac in Game 1 of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament.
Kyle Nash threw 1/3 of an inning with a strikeout in D'Youville's 10-5 loss to Penn State-DuBois to open the United States Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship.
Right-hander Sam Worthen picked up the save, his eighth of the season, in Game 2 for D'Youville. Worthen worked 1 1/3 scoreless innings and walked one in an 11-6 victory over Bryant & Stratton-Albany.
Austin Gomm homered twice and finished with five hits as Parkland College went 2-2 in Central District Championship play. He also walked twice and drove in five.
