Since joining the No. 24 Bellevue Bruins lineup on March 3, Ayden Makarus (Okotoks, Alta.) has done nothing but hit. 

The final week of the regular season, which saw the Bruins go 4-1, is a great example of the production he’s provided. 

He got it started with a hit and two walks in his team’s only loss, a 7-6 defeat at the hands of Morningside University. 

Next on the schedule was a final North Star Athletic Association tune up against the University of Jamestown.  

Makarus began the series with a walk before going 3-for-3 with a three-run and solo home run in a pair of wins. 

In Game 3, he hit a solo home run en route to helping his team to a 3-1 win. 

To put a bow on his regular season, he hit a solo shot in a 12-5 Game 4 victory. 

Over 37 games this season, Makarus has hit .322 with 15 home runs and a 1.187 OPS. 

Ayden Makarus is the Canadian Baseball Network College Player of the Week for April 21 to 27.
