Crowell, Magill, Zdunich named to AAC All-Conference First Team

Three Canadians have been named to the NAIA’s Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) All-Conference First Team.

Okotoks Dawgs alum Nash Crowell (Yarmouth, N.S.) has been named first baseman on the squad. The right-handed hitting slugger belted two more home runs for the Reinhardt University Eagles on Thursday to give him 21 on the season and set a new program record. In 46 games for the Eagles this season, Crowell is batting .365 with 43 runs and 63 RBIs in 49 games.

Crowell’s Dawgs and Reinhardt University teammate Tucker Zdunich (High River, Alta.) has been named an outfielder on the AAC All-Conference First Team. He is hitting .362 with 13 home runs and 47 RBIs in 50 games for the Eagles this season. He also has 52 runs and seven stolen bases.

Toronto Mets alum Evan Magill (Ajax, Ont.) has been named the catcher on the AAC All-Conference First Team for his performance with the Tennessee Wesleyan Bulldogs. The 6-foot-2 backstop is hitting .318 and has three home runs and 36 RBIs in 53 games this season. He also owns a .410 on-base percentage.
