The IBL is saddened to learn of the passing of Umpire Dean Oberle on December 30.
He received the 2024 Don Gilbert Umpire of The Year Award from the Ontario Baseball Association and was a longtime umpire in the IBL.
He will be sorely missed by the entire Intercounty Baseball League.
