BRANTFORD, Ont. – The Brantford Red Sox are excited to announce the return of pitcher Aidan Armitage (Waterloo, Ont.) for the 2025 season.
Armitage enters his third season with the Red Sox. To date, he has pitched in 25 games and has posted a 1-4 record with one save while accumulating 31 strikeouts over 34 1/3 innings.
The talented right-hander transferred to the OUA’s Waterloo Warriors after spending two years at Saint Francis University (NAIA), where he posted a 2-0 record with 11 strikeouts in 11 innings.
“Aidan has worked extremely hard improving his game this offseason at Velo Baseball. He has seen a velocity increase and added a new pitch. I look forward to seeing his continued development this season,” said general manager Jeff Lounsbury.
Founded in 1911, the Brantford Red Sox have a storied history, winning 15 Intercounty Baseball League titles. Fans can enjoy free admission to all home games during the 2025 season.
