The Hamilton Cardinals are pleased to announce the signing of OUA All-Star infielder Nicolas Velocci.

A native of Newmarket, Ont., Velocci joins the Cardinals following an impressive four-year career at McMaster University.

At 6-foot-2, Velocci is known for his offensive ability and versatility in the middle infield. Before his collegiate career, he sharpened his skills with the Indiana Prospects and the Toronto Mets.

The Cardinals play their home opener on May 16 against the Brantford Red Sox.
