KITCHENER- The Kitchener Panthers have signed infielder Keifer Quick (Waterloo, Ont.) for the 2021 IBL season.

After winning a Baseball Canada National Championship with the Tecumseh Thunder in the 18U age group, Quick accepted a scholarship to Notre Dame College (NCAA Division 2). During his four-year tenure at Notre Dame, Keifer accumulated a .306 BA, .387 OBP, 158 H, 10 HR, 86 RBI, 23 SBs and a bachelor’s degree in science and mathematics.

He also helped the Thunder win another Baseball Canada National Championship at the 21U age group.

In 2018, he attended Wilfred Laurier University and quickly made his presence known as the Golden Hawks captured the OUA Championship. He took home 1st Team All Star Team honours and a Master’s Degree in economics. He currently lives in Waterloo, and works as an Associate Investment Advisor for CIBC.

The Kitchener Panthers are a member of Canada’s top baseball league, the Intercounty Baseball League. The 102-year-old summer league is one of the oldest baseball leagues in the world, with the league established in 1919, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
