The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed pitcher Josh Berenbaum for the 2025 season.

Berenbaum, a native of Richmond, B.C., will join the Maple Leafs after spending six years with the University of Fraser Valley Cascades.

In 2024, he won the CCBC’s Cy Young Award and was named to the CCBC First Team All-Conference after going 3-0 with a 0.28 ERA over 32 innings, notching 40 strikeouts while allowing just one earned Run. He helped lead his team to a CCBC World Series Championship in May.

Berenbaum has also seen time with the Alexandria Aces (CRCL), Victoria HarbourCats (WCL), and Kamloops NorthPaws (WCL).
