Blue Jays from Away
With the FCL Blue Jays' game cancelled, there were five games on the schedule with the Blue Jays' minor league clubs going 2-3.
Buffalo Bisons 9, Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs (PHI) 3
The Buffalo Bisons (48-32) opened up the scoring early and piled on in the seventh as they cruised to a 9-3 win over the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.
Tyler White continues to be red hot, going 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a run. Richard Urena also swung a big bat, going 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and two runs. Christian Colon hit his 12th home run of the season and Forrest Wall was 2-for-4 with a triple, a walk, two runs and an RBI. Otto Lopez (Montreal, Que.) was 2-for-4 with two runs and a stolen base. Kevin Smith was 1-for-5 with an RBI and a run.
Lefty Zach Logue was on the mound and he scattered eight hits (one HR) and three runs (two earned), walking one and striking out four over five innings. Connor Overton allowed just a hit and a walk with four strikeouts over three innings and Travis Bergen finished, walking one and striking out one in the ninth.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 4, Hartford Yard Goats (COL) 7
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (38-41) fell a little further away from the .500 mark as they lost 7-4 to the Hartford Yard Goats.
Kevin Vicuna had another big game, going 3-for-5 with a home run, an RBI and two runs and stealing two bases. Jordan Groshans was 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and an RBI coming from a sac fly while L.J Talley was 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI. Chavez Young was 1-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base and Reggie Pruitt and Demi Orimoloye (Orleans, Ont.) were each 1-for-4 with Pruitt scoring a run.
Starter Maximo Castillo took it on the chin, giving up six runs on 10 hits (two HR) with three walks and two strikeouts in just four innings. Jon Harris allowed a run on three hits with two strikeouts in two innings and Brandon Eisert threw a scoreless seventh, striking out one. Adrian Hernandez struck out four over the final two innings, walking one.

Vancouver Canadians 1, Hillsboro Hops (ARI) 2
The Vancouver Canadians (37-46) had their offence sputter again, getting just three hits and one run in a 2-1 loss to the Hillsboro Hops.
Orelvis Martinez was 1-for-4 with a double and the club's only RBI while Tanner Morris also added a double, going 1-for-4. Rafael Lantigua walked and scored and Spencer Horwitz had a single, going 1-for-4.
Starter Nick Fraze had a solid outing, pitching 4 2/3 innings and giving up two runs on five hits with two walks and six strikeouts but took the loss because of a lack of run support. Andrew Bash allowed just one hit in 2 1/3 innings of relief, striking out two and Willy Gaston allowed a hit and struck out one in the eighth. Roither Hernandez finished the game and allowed a hit and struck out one in the ninth.

Dunedin Blue Jays 3, Fort Myers Mighty Mussels (MIN) 5
The Dunedin Blue Jays (36-46) were close but were still beaten by the Fort Myers Might Mussels 5-3 on Sunday.
Catcher J.J. D'Orazio hit his first home run in Low-A, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run while Addison Barger was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Dasan Brown (Oakville, Ont.) was 1-for-5 and Harrison Ray was 0-for-2 but walked, was hit by a pitch, stole a base and scored a run. P.K. Morris was 1-for-4 and Mack Mueller walked and scored a run.
Nathanael Perez gave up four runs (three earned) in his start, allowing four hits and four walks with six strikeouts. Juan De Paula allowed an unearned run on a hit and a walk with three strikeouts in 1 2/3 innings and Jol Concepcion walked one in the seventh, striking out two. Thomas Ruwe pitched the eighth, allowing a hit and a walk with two strikeouts.

DSL Blue Jays 5, DSL Tigers 3
The DSL Blue Jays (10-7) grabbed another victory, beating the DSL Tigers 5-3 on Saturday.
Cristian Feliz had a strong game, gong 2-for-4 with two RBI, a run and a stolen base while Francisco Fajardo was 2-for-3 with a triple, an RBI, a run and a stolen base. Yhoangel Aponte was 1-for-4 with a double and a run while Luis Garcia was 1-for-4 with an RBI and Robert Robertis was 1-for-4 with a stolen base. Endri Garcia was 1-for-2 and Jonathan Peguero, the catcher, was 1-for-3 with a walk and a run. Manuel Beltre was also 1-for-3 with a walk and a run.
Darwin Cruz started, going three innings and giving up just two unearned runs on three hits with four strikeouts. Robin De Jesus allowed a run on two hits with two walks and a strikeout in the fourth and Frank Medina walked two without giving up a run and striking out two in the fifth. Yondrei Rojas allowed just a hit in his two innings, striking out five and Angel Santana walked one in the eighth to nail down the save as the game appeared to have been called early.
